Another Beautiful Texas Tree Preserved & Transplanted – Video

Another great day of preserving native Texas trees and transplanting them! This project included transplanting a 100-year old live oak tree, weighing 50,000+ lbs., and and a sizable crepe myrtle. Our team has plenty of experience saving and transplanting large trees all across Texas. Hand-digging the root ball is a tried-and-true method developed over a century ago. This method significantly increases the ability of the tree to survive after it has been transplanted, versus more modern tree-spade digging processes. This tree is now planted near the Neighborhood Amenity Center in Canyon Falls. It is centrally located where it can be appreciated by all community members!
